Youth Volunteer

Overview: YMCA Batticaloa is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Volunteer Unpaid YMCA Batticaloa Volunteers. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the community by supporting various programs and initiatives aimed at promoting youth development, community engagement, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Support: Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of YMCA Batticaloa programs and events, including sports activities, educational workshops, and community outreach initiatives.
2. Youth Engagement: Engage with local youth to build positive relationships, mentorship, and create a supportive environment for personal growth and development.
3. Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to the YMCA Batticaloa office, including data entry, filing, and organizing program materials.
4. Community Outreach: Participate in community outreach activities to raise awareness about YMCA programs, recruit volunteers, and foster positive community relationships.
5. Assistance with Fundraising: Collaborate with the fundraising team to support fundraising events, campaigns, and donor engagement efforts to sustain and expand YMCA Batticaloa’s impact.
6. Communication and Documentation: Assist in documenting program activities, capturing success stories, and contributing to regular reports to stakeholders.
7. Adherence to Policies: Adhere to YMCA Batticaloa’s policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants and volunteers.
